I went into the application process thinking I might want to explore Law — but somewhere along the way, I realised that what I was actually drawn to was Biomedical Engineering. That shift felt exciting, but also a little overwhelming, especially while trying to keep up with deadlines, essays, and everything else.

Working with CollegeCore really helped me make sense of that transition. Instead of pushing me in a fixed direction, they gave me the space to figure things out, while also helping me structure my thoughts so everything started to feel clearer. My essays, in particular, felt a lot more like me — just more focused and intentional. The same went for interviews — I felt prepared, but not scripted.

What stood out the most was how personal the whole experience felt. It never felt transactional. I always felt supported, especially during moments where I was second-guessing myself or struggling to prioritise.

I’m really grateful for the guidance through it all — especially as I head to Johns Hopkins University, with offers also from Imperial College London and UCL.
